Now our commentary with our commentator George Butler

YUGOSLAVIA

Tito fought to preserve a Yugoslavia free from the dominance of the U.S.S.R. and international lenders. Soon after his death the new Yugoslavian leaders began to accumulate debt as a means to steal from the state and to buy state industries for paltry sums. Tito understood the problem of debt accumulation and the compounding of interest. His heirs have brought Yugoslavia to the brink of economic disaster.

It was a triumphant moment when the Serbs stormed the parliament building, standing as a symbol of Milosevic's tyranny. They took control of their destinies if only for a few days. For the old pressures and dominant money groups will surely reassert their authority in the near future.

Today the lifting of economic sanctions is near and a return to normalcy means the resumption of the repayment of foreign debt. Economic sanctions are the enforcement mechanism used to collect debt. There will also be new loans made to Yugoslavia for the rebuilding process.

The Kosovo war was a means to punish Yugoslavia for having defaulted on their international debt.

The Serbian masses storming their parliament building was a lesson to Americans who being fat and sassy cannot not find the will with both hands to fight for right.

Congratulations to Kostunica and the many who fought for right.

Some suggestions for the new leadership:

  1. Control of the central bank by the people for the people. For the creation of money in a money dominated world is all-important.
  2. The intelligence agencies should be dismantled.
  3. Those guilty of crimes must be punished.
  4. Those acquiring industries through illegal means must be divested.
  5. The military a long term movement to retire existing top officers
  6. The early retirement of Judges who did not act properly
  7. Secret Societies must be banned.
  8. Constitutional law rigidly enforced.

MIDDLE EAST QUAGMIRE

The recent disorder in Israel some have attributed to Ariel Sharon's walk across the Temple Mound. This short walk has seriously threatened the peace process in the Middle East. The U.N. Security Council passed a resolution condemning the use of excessive force by the Israelis in trying to quell the riots occurring in the West Bank and Gaza Strip areas. The Israelis at times used Helicopter gun-ships firing rockets at Palestinian positions. The U.S. abstained from the U. N. vote and in doing so gave some validity to the claim of excessive force made in the resolution.

Barak has given the Palestinians a 48-hour deadline, 24 hours remaining to calm the Palestinians. Barak's government recently sought the advice of Ariel Sharon, the man who some say provoked this recent conflict.

The extremists on both sides will continue to deny the good people both Arab and Jew the peace they both fervently desire.

Now some closing statements.

"Know Thyself"

"Know Thy Thoughts"

"Know Thy World"

The first "Know Thyself" was a saying used by Socrates to teach. This saying helps one to understand their own personality and character traits so that one might be able to reform those negative traits.

The second, "Know Thy Thoughts" denotes a process of being able to observe ones thoughts as they are unfolding and how those thoughts mold one's actions.

The third "Know Thy World" is a journey of discovery of worldly things. We should endeavor to discover those systems that control us through a systemized state of debasement.

In the end we must expose and reveal truth, so we might speak for freedom, a freedom built up by a belief in God, humbling oneself, bending thy knee to a higher power and redirecting of one's soul in a new direction where worldly things are unimportant and Godly things the only path, the only way, the only direction.

In Closing remember these words:

BE GOOD TO YOURSELF AND OTHERS!
