THE SNOWS OF WINTER

The snows of winter in Afghanistan can be ferocious and deadly. U.S. troops now fighting there have been trained in the harshest of conditions but the Afghan fighters especially were reared on the rocky cold slopes of their homeland and no matter how poor they may be, they still love their heritage no matter how unlike American culture it may be. So to dislodge the troops militarily during the winter will be difficult, but a political settlement is far smarter and will be more quickly accomplished.

America has developed an unquenchable addiction for heroin. Today most heroin smuggled into the U.S. enters from two main sources: South America and Mexico, so our neighbors to the south will never stem the flow of drugs for there's too much money involved. The heroin processed in Afghanistan finds it way into European markets. So the west both Europe and America have become decadent, demanding drugs, wine and sex and there's no real serious movement to shut down the supply line. It goes on and on.

The snows of winter oh how harsh they may be so cold too are white snow particles of heroin flooding the veins with joy though a very very cold and lonely one.

The first "Know Thyself" was a saying used by Socrates to teach. This saying helps one to understand their own personality and character traits so that one might be able to reform those negative traits.

The second, "Know Thy Thoughts" denotes a process of being able to observe ones thoughts as they are unfolding and how those thoughts mold one's actions.

The third "Know Thy World" is a journey of discovery of worldly things. We should endeavor to discover those systems that control us through a systemized state of debasement.

In the end we must expose and reveal truth, so we might speak for freedom, a freedom built up by a belief in God, humbling oneself, bending thy knee to a higher power and redirecting of one's soul in a new direction where worldly things are unimportant and Godly things the only path, the only way, the only direction.
